Something I loved about Natsu in the og fairy tail is even though he always acted stupid and dense, he actually was quite smart and not as dense as the guild thinks.
I love to headcanon that he was the type of person who’s very observant and remember little things about people (especially when it comes to Lucy) but act like it isn’t the case.
